Nick Diaz lost to Joe Riggs. So, in a total bitch move, Diaz suckerpunched Riggs at the hospital after the fight.

what the fuck? where'd you hear that?

Coutrure hit Liddel only a few times during the first round because Liddell refused to stay still. During the second, Couture slipped and Liddell lit him up. Liddell took advantage of that opportunity and won.

The Mir fight was pretty sad. Poor bastard got huge, but needed to be a hell of a lot quicker.

I don't remember who it was, but some dude got knocked the fuck out with a kick to the head and woke up saying "where am I?". Gold.

It's all over all the fight forums. Sherdog, Underground, NCFA.tv. Supposedly Diaz was arrested by LVPD, but none of it is all 100% confirmed. If it all turns out to be true, I hope he is banned for life.

Report: UFC Fighters In Fist-Fight Following The PPV
Date Added: February 05, 2006
Story By: Ben Johnson
The WrestlingObserver reports that UFC's Nick Diaz and Joe Riggs got into a fist-fight at a Las Vegas hospital following their PPV fight that went the distance.

Although the judges decided that Joe Riggs won the close, three-round fight, Nick Diaz felt that he actually won the fight, and the two exchanged words.

Diaz then planted what is being called a sucker punch on Riggs; the winner came back to continue the fight before the two were pulled apart.

Riggs reportedly decided against pressing charges.

the fight was awsome, I watched it at Hooters and when Liddell knocked out Couture everyone went crazy. Me and the Hooters girl had a bet that if Couture lost she would let me take her out.I got her number and talked to her lastnight so..... looks like it was a win-win situation for me! GO ME!

Yeah, Nick Diaz is a little bitch. I've disliked him ever since he got beat by Diego Sanchez and when asked what he thought of Diego after the fight he said something along the lines of "He isn't that good. I still don't respect him". Fucktard, Sanchez beat your ass. Man up, move on. That being said, I'm not surprised he sucker punched Diesel. What a douche.

Yes Sir, I worked out perfect and Im glad i didnt lose because if I did I would have had to pay for everyone at our table(3 people not including me) and give her a tip higher then $50

Desiel and Diaz fight was a badass fight, Im glad it went the distance. I couldnt tell who one and didnt want to be a judge because they both fought there hearts out. Diego Sanchez is a badass and cant wait to see him fight for the belt.

I don't think Diego has a chance of getting the belt anytime soon unless they start the lightweight division back up. Welterweights are just too stacked. He doesn't have much of a chance with Hughes, St. Pierre, or Penn.

Couture wasn't knocked out per se, but Liddell did break his nose.

And Nick Diaz needs some vagisil.

Not really. A KO in UFC is not the same as boxing, because of the rules. When a fighter is no longer able to defend himself, it's a KO. He can get knocked down all day and it's not a TKO. Those usually come from injuries or cuts. It really does make sense. You can be awake yet out. Let someone choke you correctly for about 8 seconds (you'll go out between 4 and 6 if it's applied right.) You'll see what I mean. You can be awake, but for your safety and all practical means, you're out.

Don't get me wrong. I really wanted Randy to win. I like Chuck, but he is so one dimensional. Quinton Jackson is supposedly coming to UFC soon. Chuck will be done.

true. I know boxing but I'm not familiar with all the UFC rules.

I'm more a fan of Pride myself. I'm not really aware of many Pride rules. I'm not sure there are any. That's why Hughes won't go. He'd get destroyed. All the money is in Pride. They pay Tyson money there.

You talking about Matt Hughes? He all about wrestling man why would he go into a stand up fight like that? He knows it’s not his style that would be like a strait boxer getting into a UFC fight get him on the ground and he is done. I don’t know about pride fighting but it is stand up right? Like kick boxing or something right?

Edit:

I dont know I just watch come Pride fighting on Google video and it looks just like UFC but its a ring rather then a cage and I think Matt would do just as well there as he does in the UFC

They are sort of similar, but Pride has a lot less rules and a comp[letely different level of competition. I think Hughes would do ok, but he wouldn't dominate like he does in the UFC. I think Hughes reign is about over in UFC anyway. Penn or St. Pierre is going to beat Hughes. Just depends on which one gets there first.
Posted: Feb 7 2006, 03:52 PM
I think that St. Pierre has a chance if he doesn't get too cocky. But if he comes in there doing backflips and shit, Matt Hughes is going to fuck him up.
