Anyone know if it is possible to make your own ice luge?

Depends on what kind of luge you are talking about. If you are refering to one where you can ride down on a sled like in the olympics then it would not be possible unless you were filthy rich. The party booze luge things are dooable, but you need to be very artistic and good at carving ice
I jsut want a bock of it. I was hinkin of gettin a big ass trash can, putting water in it, putting it in a walkin in freezer. Breaking the trash can off, and carving the luge out of it.

It's possible, didnt everybody see that one movie with the smart kids and they build some laser? i dont remember the name of it but they built a luge down the stairs! LOL!
my friends and I have had several parties using the homemade ice luge. it was easy for us because a local ice company makes 300 lbs. blocks of ice that work perfectly. we made a wooden stand that sit up on the tailgate of a truck. we made the channels with a router with a half inch bit on it.

i've never made my own luge, but the ice place up the road from me has them for like $15-20, easier than going through all the trouble of making one. The only thing is i hate when the tracks start to get holes in them and all the booze leaks out!
