Hey I'm on both sides I got my Daily driver nothing really to look at then I got the MGB GT but most of the time they dont even know what it is. So that does not help me either. I'm trying to get my a Syclone when I give my S-10 to my dad for his airport truck and I'm sure no one will know what that is.


Here are some pics for people who do not know what it is.


They are a 4.3L Turbo V6 with AWD bad ass little truck the years they were made they were faster then the vetts. They got about 270HP with 360ftlbs. But this was under rated from GMC they are closer to 300HP and 380ftlbs. They only came in black in the Syclones and the Typhoons came in more colors.

i drive a beater. well it's not too bad yet but it's getting old.

i have better things to spend my money on than car payments and crazy insurance rates these days.

Though I don't think you'd want to drive that across the ocean.

i keep looking out the window and seeing him grinding off rust, sanding it, prepping it for paint, and thinking: it's an old, goofy looking truck...wtf?

He could be making a clone. I dont know why one of these trucks would be all rusted out because they are very rare and I dont see someone letting that happen to one. They only made like 2995 Syclones and they were only made in 91. the Typhoon's were made in 92 and 93 with something like 2500 made in 92 and almost 3K in 93.

Syclones and Typhoons were badass. I knew a guy who had a Syclone but wrapped it and himself around a telephone poll.

there are tons of Syclones and Typhoons here in Bergen

they are pretty fast .

kool kool, I had people taking pics of my car when I was restoring it. It was because the 3 times a day I took it out side to wet sand on it they would bitch in my parents neighborhood, you think they would bitch about the noise that I made over there at nite welding and grinding and shit but no they cared more about it being outside during the day time.

How can there be so many there with only 2995 Syclones made.

in my little town there are at least 80 of those!

and thats quite alot when there are only 200.000 ppl here.

I am considering a 1972 Buick "Boattail" Riviera. I want the red w/ white top & white leather interior. 454 under the hood.

I've always been a fan of the Syclones and the Typhoons and it's great that they're still holding their value with all the high powered suvs and trucks coming out. GM should have kept making them, they definitely can't do it iin the Colorados.
