War with Iran...

When's it going to happen?

It's unfortunate the president has little credibility left, because there is an enemy that is killing alot of American soldiers. I do think it's only a matter of time before we start bombing them. No troops, just massive air strikes.

I agree. There's finally another credible threat to our forces and interests and Dubya doesn't have enough credibility left to rally the country to fight them. Iran is basically begging for a war with someone. It's understandable for them to want a war with someone though. Read: understandable, not agreeable. They've been the unsung war machine for a while now and a lot of the world sees them as some backwater upstart. They want a shot to prove themselves as a top military power to the world. In the end, it will only lead to their demise. All it's going to take is for Iran to launch one offensive by means of groundforces, airstrikes or terrorism for the rest of the world to rise up as one and slay them. My opinion? The time to strike is now. NK is laying down their nuclear arms and Iran doesn't have them as of yet. If the world drags it out until they do have nuclear arms, they will launch nuclear strikes. Welcome to WWIII, ladies and gentlemen.

Let's just give Israel the go ahead and let them wipe them out.

I agree. But if they do that, Iran is going to say that we gave them the go ahead. Which will either lead to another oil embargo, or them ramping up their attacks on US troops in Iraq. I say we just bomb the hell out of them for a week, sink every ship in their navy and give them no ability to launch a military strike for 10 years.

The US will undoubtably be welcomed as liberators.

Next, Austria! (or is it Australia? I always get them mixed up.)

For some reason I watched his (Bush) press conference and I really cant stomach anything the guy says, and that weird smirk and giggle he does just gets on my last nerve. I mean your being asked a serious question and u blow it off with the token Bush giggle and smirk while giving some bullshit answer that goes on for 5 minutes that could have been answered in a couple lines. I cant see him gaining any support for any new attacks at this point. In the eyes of the general public you are right his credibility and that of his cabinet is shot to hell and with good reason for the most part .

we need to just leave that region of the world alone and let them stay in the dark ages, theres no saving that region. We could just use bio logical war fare and pretend like we had nothing to do with it.

I guess even other Muslim countries dont like Iran

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/830309.html

According to the report, a diplomat from one of the gulf states visiting Washington on Saturday said the three states, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, have told the United States that they would not object to Israel using their airspace, despite their fear of an Iranian response.

let us not forget that Iran is a formidable enemy....just look at the armor piercing rounds they have developed that are slicing up our humvees....

i read also about an anti aircraft carrier missile...of course there is always a lot of bluster coming out of Iran, but we can't take our power for granted....
