I have a bunch of old computer games, such as Quake, Quake II, Duke Nukem. But I cant get any of them to install. I am guessing current computers today are too good for games meant for Windows 95/98.
My question is, is there anyway at all that I would be able to play these games again that you all know of? Besides putting them on to an old computer.

If you have a PSP, a big memory stick, and a cracked version of firmware you can play Quake, Quake II, Doom, Duke Nukem free on it..

try right clicking on the .exe file for the install/game and go to properties, then compatibility, then check the box that says run in compatibility mode for: windows 95.. you might also try checking some of those other options if that doesnt work. good luck.. if all else fails check google.

You should also try out either an Amiga or PS 1 emulator and get the ROMs through google search... I could recommend some sites to you, but that wouldn't be legal.. Also search around a local Comp USA.. For those games you mentioned, they are notable titles so I'm sure they have updated versions that are compatable with XP..

I just tried that and it didnt work.
I was able to run quake 2 from the CD without installing it, but only for a few minutes before it quit.
I think its because the game are meant for a MS-DOS based operating system. Which XP is not
