2007-2008 Fantasy Football

Couple questions since I've not been involved in an online draft (we do ours in person) and I'm used to Sportsline not Yahoo.

Looking around it looks like each starting lineup consists of the following:

QB, QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/T, W/R, K, DEF, D, D
and you have 8 Bench (BN) slots.

With the W/T & W/R can choose on a weekly basis to play a WR or TE or RB in the appropriate slot?

Are there any restrictions as to what positions you fill the 8 Bench seats with?

Is the draft an auto draft where it will take the next available player based on how you rank them, or are we all online and choose our next player until the draft is complete?

Yes. W/T means you can include any WR or TE for that position. W/R means you can include any WR or RB for that position.

There are no restrictions for bench players. Do as you wish.

The draft is live, so you can pick whomever you want if you are online at the time. Otherwise it will go based on your rankings, or if you didn't rank them, based on yahoo's rankings.

me too, and my team has a few scrubs as a result.

and hett is right, this league does have a shitload of players. I'm sure it will be like last year when the waiver wire was fairly quiet...

I have Ahman Green as well, amazing value with a 5th round pick. 6 TDs and over 1,400 apy while not even playing the entire season last year. Impressive considering he played behind a recently depleted Green Bay run blocking o-line. Houston should be a better fit for him. Their run blocking skill is much better than their pass blocking there.

And thumbs down to whomever it was that took Matt Leinart one pick before I was going to snag him.

There is no possible way that LJ can come off a 400+ carry season with another one. Expect Bennett to steal some of LJ's carries this year. I predict a 1200 yard year from him this year.

Being that there are only 10 teams, I think it'll be fine with as many roster spots as we have.
