Are you serious? First of all I bet you don't know anybody with a graduate degree. Second of all, what would you have me do differently? Should I not root for the Gators? Should I not take the opportunity and get football season tickets to one of the greatest college football experiences? Everyone in my department roots for their undergraduate school (Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Bowling Green, FSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, etc.) and UF. They have stronger allegiance to their undergrad, as I do to USF. I have a legitimate reason to root for both teams and it will be tough to watch them play each other in 2010.

You are a retard.

Of you dont want USF to win over UF, then you are really misunderstood and are a sellout to the real university you went to. It should not be a tough decision. It would not matter what graduate school that I went to, I would never cheer for my grad school over Florida State.

Its like you are just getting on the bandwagen, ...... but not really.

Another big day of college football

Illinois - 31
#5 Wisconsin - 26

First time Illinois has beaten a top 5 team since 1989. Even though Wisconsin probably didn't deserve to be #5, I'll take it. thumbs.gif

This is two weeks in a row that the Fighting Illini have smacked around an AP top 25 team. drinkup[1].gif

Yea, what a day. Xavier Lee gets his first win as a starting quarterback.

Florida State 4-1

Illini 5-1

It has been one great day in college football.

LSU 28 - UF 24

I'm loving it.

USC lost to Stanford. ha! And the Gaytors lost...........again!

I'm upset we didn't get the win cause we were beating the new consensus #1 team in the country the whole game. But I'm not mad cause I think that is the best both teams could play, and LSU is just that much more better. But I don't expect us to fall much in the polls, still ahead of FSU.

im not gonna say thats the best the gators can play when you throw a key interception in the fourth quarter off your recievers helmet thats just something thats not supposed to happen. he saw the ball coming and tried to duck out of the way even if you cant catch the ball knock it down that lucky bounce or the recievers helmet gives the game to lsu

Like I said before, I think Missouri is going to win. How quick the pollsters forget that OU isn't good and their only claim to fame is beating an a highly overrated Texas team.

Tough decision, especially when most people favor the school they went to and got their B.S. degree. Nobody favors and cheers for their graduate school over their alma mater. Thats just ridiculous.

At least you will admit it though.

Does that mean if your community college plays FSU, you are cheering for the community college?

i'm not sure they can go down there and beat OU, but who knows, if the defense plays like they did against nebraska, they will win. just found out that gameday is going to be there and like the USC, Nebraska game, i might have field passes! s-headbang.gif

I really thought Mizzou was going to win...

LSU loses, Cal loses

USF was #5, there can be a strong argument for USF being #2 in the country tomorrow...wow!

Does the chick in the middle look familiar PalmBeach? Looks like everyone is off the FSU bandwagon.

This football season is a joke.

How can a team be #2 in the nation and still be an underdog against an unranked team?
