Bama has got one of the best NFL prospects at QB with John Parker Wilson his stats are getting better during his 2nd year in the new offense and it really helps having a 6'4" 210lb Freshan WR that runs a 4.3 and can out jump almost anyone on the basketball team. Julio Jones is a freak at WR he is scary good has the hands to go with the size and ability he is a fuckin prototype of what you want in an NFL WR. He will probably be a top 5 pick in the NFL draft after his soph season. AND YES IM SO HAPPY FLORIDA DOESNT PLAY THEM THIS YEAR UNLESS THEY MAKE IT TO THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

i have watched alabama twice this year and georgia twice this year, and i can tell you right now when the chiefs pick in the top 5 next year there is no way in hell i want stafford, i would rather have the chiefs drop down. and yes parker wilson looks better than him.

Wilson throwing to Bowe would be a good combo for KC. Stafford will be a good pro it just may take 3 or 4 years kinda like Eli Manning but without the sand filled vagina

I couldnt possibly see Stafford crying about being selected 1st overall but then again he probably wont be the first pick I imagine the Lions go defense with the pick. KC is in desperate need of a QB and if they dont draft Wilson in the top 5 of the draft he falls to a few teams that shouldnt hesitate to take him
MIA- Chad Pennington probably wont last hes just good enough to be a backup
STL- Should be drooling for Wilson Bulgers best years are behind him
S.F.- Martz is a sucker for a big arm and JT is headed back to the bench
Jax- Garrard is not a starting QB most of the time does just enough to not lose
Min- AP would be unstopable with a real threat at QB
T.B.- I just dont think John Gruden can resist if he could he would keep 12 QBs on the team hell he drafted Chris Simms with 5QBs already on the team just because he was there
I just want to see Julio Jones playing for the Cowboys or Bucs in a few years hes a playmaker he has the tools to play in the NFL now. Not only was he arguably the top prep recruit last year easily top WR he was named 2006-07 Gatorade Track and Field Athlete of the Year. Pryor was ESPNs top recruit because they have a hardon for OhioSt and anytime you talk Ohio St / Michigan recruiting they tend to over rate the talent. Pryor is an option QB nothing else.

Stafford looked really good today against an LSU defense that will have 3-4 guys playing in the NFL. He has streaks when he is inaccurate, but so did Matt Ryan. Detroit and Cincinatti both have big time needs on defense, but Stanton and Kitna aren't long term solutions in Detroit. That being said, whoever the GM is for Detroit will be run out of town of he goes QB with a top 3 pick.
With how shitty my Seahawks are this year (Hasselbeck might be done for the year, which all but guarantees us a top 5 pick), I wouldn't mind seeing them take Stafford and sit him for the last couple years of Hasslbeck's career (if Stafford comes out). Seneca Wallace and Charlie Frye aren't even close to being starting QB's in the NFL. They'll probably take a big DT who will be hurt for most of his career though.
If Ohio State beats Penn State, USC will be in the national championship game. If Georgia wins out they will be there too. I can see Texas getting beat next week.

it will be a joke if there is not a team from either the big 12 or the sec this year. but i'm sure its going to happen, bama will slip up and texas will do something stupid like lose the big 12 championship to stick us with USC and Penn St. woohoo, we get the two best teams from two of the worst BCS conferences!
can we please get a playoff system?

rooting for the tigers to somehow rebound from that embarrassing loss to kansas last week and beat the sooners. and hoping that the tide can somehow beat florida so we have texas and bama in the championship game.
oh yeah, the only way your boy teabag is repeating as heisman is if bradford steps on his dick this weekend against mizzou.

we wont lose to bama they are ranked #3 defense in the country only because we put up 56 against the previous #3 ranked defense in the country. Tebow should repeat he is actually a better qb this year than last year but the only number thats up for him is the win column. he hasnt played in too many 4th qtrs all year because they have dominated on both sides of the ball. Heisman is supposed to be for the most valuable player in the country bradford is on a team with 2 future nfl starting rbs that average almost 6yds per carry a tight end that is built out of the jason witten mold and jaucin iglesias is everybit as fast as harvin. the fact is bradford has never faced a pass rush in his life he has been touched a total of 9 times tebow faces constant pressure he has only been sacked 14 times but thats because of his escapability if tebow had all the time in the pocket that bradford had he would easily complete 70%. Tebow has been picked 2 times all year and those have been from tipped passes. Tebow is the MVP of college football any qb good enough to play for a bcs contender that has all day to find his reciever can do what bradford mccoy and harrell has done

try and justify it all you want, he aint winning it, and he shouldn't. bradford's numbers are better in a better conference. yes, i said it, the big 12 is better than the SEC. there are two great teams in the SEC this year, Bama and UF and the rest is mediocre. there are 3 great teams with Texas, OU and Tech, and three good teams with MU, OSU, and KU in the Big 12. hell the Big 12 South is the best conference in the country!

Actally, the Heisman is for the best college football player in the nation, not the most valuable.

Not gonna happen Demarco Murray was the best player on that team and now hes gone. Oh well now OU has an excuse for getting beat down by Forida. Thats why the Heisman should be given after all the games are played.

you haven't watched them play if you think he is the best player on the team.

Yes I have watched them play and the defenses they play are pathetic. Direct from the mouth of Bob Stoops who knows more about football than you will ever know "Demarco Murray is as good maybe better than Adrian Peterson was"
want some numbers to back it up?
Murray yards per carry 5.7 Peterson 5.4ypc
Murray 2years 31 total tds Peterson 3year 42 total tds
Murray 45catches 455yds recieving Peterson 24 catches for 198yd
I would say the numbers back up what Stoops was saying too and any player that draws comparison to Adrian Peterson from Bob Stoops who has first hand knowledge of both players has to be the best player on the team I dont care if he won the Heisman Jason White won the Heisman and then became the only Heisman trophy winner to enter the draft and not get drafted. So no im not impressed with Bradford at all he looks a lot like Jason White. If I have to chose between an offensive player on that team I want Murray you can have Bradford all day.

Yep, and why is it fair that the winner of OU/UF should be held to have to beat USC/Texas (who both beat garbage Big 10 teams)? Plus 1 cannot be implemented in the current system without some tweaking of the matchups. What's the point of a #1-2 game if they have to play someone else afterwards?

how long has this site been up? we have been bitching about it ever since and the only possible way to solve this problem is a playoff system. to make the problem worse is that not all conferences play by the same rules, in the big 10 and pac ten they don't even have a championship game. there needs to be a change, obama, i didn't vote for you, but can you please change this?

A conference needs 12 teams to be allowed to have a championship game, i.e. the reason the ACC brought in 3 more teams to water down their basketball programs, er, I mean to get to 12 so they could have a football championship game.
The big 10 wants to bring in Notre Dame football, but the Irish want to stay independent so they can play a better schedule (example - USC instead of Iowa) year in and year out.
As for the Pac10, I'd like to see them bring in Utah and Hawaii to make 12, but that's a pipe-dream.
