drink.gif Yes. Thanks 'bangin thumbs.gif

Weathers and Heilman make the headlines? That's a shitty and over the hill group.

Second half last year, so many teams' bullpens fell apart. Mets, Mariners, A's, Twins (when Nathan was down), Blue Jays, Cubs, Dodgers,... contenders and playoff teams even.

I guess the league, overall, is weak at middle-relief. mellow.gif

"And what is with the guy who was at the party and saw Michael Phelps and who's first thought wasn't, 'Oh my God, I get to party with Michael Phelps!' but instead, 'I'm going to snap a photo of him with a bong and sell it for money.' Seriously. Sir - you are an asshole.' lol.gif tongue.gif

Now Tejada, there's falling like a house of cards. These would be from the spades part of the deck. rolleyes.gif

Over the past 20 seasons the National League MVP has been a known steroid user 9 times (7 Bonds, 1 Sosa, 1 Caminiti). Also, odds are Kevin Mitchell was juicing in 1989 making an even 50%. Who knows about about characters like Barry Larkin and Jeff Bagwell. The AL has 7 known user MVP's in the last twenty (3 Gay-Rod, Giambi, Tejada, and 2 J. Gonzalez). But AL makes up ground if we go back three additional years so we can include the mighty Jose and The Rocket.

When will the insanity end? Should we just not count the last 2 decades in the record books?

ps - the world's economy is faltering if you haven't heard. Time to start fucking sheep s-ferris.gif thumbs.gif

fuck you Rose is the man. i wish my manager had the confidence to bet on his team to win every day. his records are all legit wether he bet on his games or not im sure he even made prop bets that he would win the batting title too. nothing but respect for hustle he played the game the way its supposed to be played hard and clean. gayrod is a bitch and a disgrace to the game
Posted: Feb 13 2009, 12:07 PM
personally i think rose is a piece of shit, but he should definately be in the hall for his playing stats.

this is from a boston website, all the boston crap sucks but the guy has some hillarious shit on there. www.barstoolsports.com

NYPOST - Former Met star Roberto Alomar had unprotected sex with his ex-girlfriend while he had full blown AIDS, a sensational lawsuit charges.

PAGE SIX: DARRYL BARES MET SEXCAPADES

In the $15 million action filed in Brooklyn Federal court, Ilya Dall, of Queens, said the ballplayer tested positive for HIV in 2006 and a doctor later told him he had AIDS. Dall said she tested negative for the disease - but is claiming punitive damages for emotional distress. She also claims her children were exposed to the virus. Her suit does not claim that he knew he had AIDS when they were having unprotected sex - but he had reason to think he might because his doctors kept advising him to be tested. He procrastinated and told her he was disease free, the suit says. In 2004, she said, she noticed he had cold sores. The following year he was diagnosed with a blood disorder that's linked to AIDS, the suit says. Also in 2005, Alomar told Dall that when he once was raped by two Mexican men after playing a Ballgame in New Mexico, according to the suit.

Hmm, this seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through to prove youíre not gay huh? We get it Roberto. You have a girlfriend. And she is suing you for having sex with her while you had aids. But donít think I didnít notice that little tidbit about getting raped by two Mexican men either. Are we sure that wasnít what people in the porn business refer to as role-play? Itís just sad that Alomar still feels he needs to lie and try to act all macho at this stage of the game. Oh well, I need something to cheer me up now. Thank God the Post also has a story on Darryl Strawberryís Met Sexcapades. See thatís what the NY Post will do. Theyíll tear you down and then build you back up.

Brady Anderson was a known bi. He and Robbie partied together an awful lot when they played together in Baltimore. An AWFUL lot. ff.jpg

I guess Robbie still thinks he has a chance to get into the Hall? blink.gif

i grant you that, he was a hell of a player. but i am partial to frank white being in the hall of fame, one of the best second basemen of all time and he's not in. i am still not sure how the hell jim rice got in this year, his stats aren't hall of fame worthy.

Aww, that really hurts my feelings. s-violin.gif

Fuck Alomar, he's a fucking dick. I don't care how good he was on the field, he's still an asshole, so fuck him and fuck you. You gonna kiss some guy's ass becuase he was picked first on the playground, even after he stole your lunch money.

As for his stats, no time in his career, did he NOT play on a stacked lineup. In Cleveland it was with Belle, Manny, Thome, Lofton.... in Baltimore he was on the team that hat 8 players in the starting lineup hit over 20 hr's in a single season, the Mets, they were stacked like the poor-man's Yankees that they are.

You hate on Bonds right? Even though he has the HR title, and Aaron even came out to say that Bonds deserves it. Here's a fact you won't be able to prove until the shit hits the fan - Robbie Almor used roids too. He used them with Brady Anderson, and Sandy also was a user. I don't know when or where, except for Brady, but I can guarantee you there're in that sinking boat. (this is blasphamy, but I guess Im just hating)

I don't even hate on guys for using roids. Not everyone is perfect. But Robbie, he's a piece of work, that arrogant, stuck-up prick. Yea, yer right, I've got plenty of hatorade to pass around on this schmuck. smile.gif

Burt - looking at the Royals. Gotta say, Look out White Sox!!

Crisp CF
DeJesus LF
Gordon 3B
Guillen RF
Butler DH
Jacobs 1B
Collaspo/Teahan 2B
Olivo C
Aviles SS

a sane Guillen, a healthy Jacobs, an overdue breakout seaon by DeJesus, production from Gordon & Butler and a CoCo Crisp having just a good old time raking up 15hr, 30sb, .285,100runs. That lineup acutally looks damage provoking. The middle infield looks a bit stick-less, but plenty of power will come from the aforementioned names.

Now if the pitching can come around;

Meche - Had an impressive season last year. Can he be more than a mediocre starter?
Grienke - Starting to come to form? Maybe too much stress being the ace?
Bannister - I like him, he's solid. He's a regular ole Braden Looper.
Davies - He's ready to play. I'm sure his numbers will impress this year.
H. Ramirez - He was the man when he played for Atlanta, can he bring it in KC?
Hochevar - he's about a year or two away, but he'll get some chances this year.
Soria - top tier - gotta have closer.
Gobble/Farnsworth - Set up men - hmm, the jury is still out on that.

sounds like he fucked your mom sister and girlfriend sorry dude but fact is he hasnt been outed as a cheater Bonds was a cheater Alomar hit for a .300avg and only hit 210 career home runs because he was a fundamental contact hitter you dont need roids to hit 210hrs in 17 seasons. Jeter has very similar numbers behind the plate nobody will ever accuse him of using. those were some really stacked teams in SD and Toronto his first 8 years. I hate on the known cheaters if it comes out that he was a cheater fine let the hating begin im right there with you. I would love my team to be all .300 hitters with minimal power and play gold glove defense thats what he was if you want a lineup full of 30hr guys with .260 averages and weak defense youre out of your mind. Also he was never suspended for roids or even named in the Mitchell report by Radomski who was in the clubhouse with Alomar maybe he would have been able to play better with the back trouble he had that forced him to retire

Fact is not everyone is going to be the ultimate nice guy like Tim Tebow, Dwight Howard, and Wade Boggs who do everything to try to sign every autograph and always look to do the right thing the world is full of assholes and Alomar is just another asshole that knows how good he was at his job

And for the record nobody ever beat me up and stole my lunch money and i always draft the best players first i just dont like to lose ever i still refuse to draft my best friend because he cant hit drink.gif
