There are two questions... one in regard to the name of the Universites, and the other regarding Mascots.... I only gave an example for the Mascot question, because if I give the the University/College/State question it will give the other school's away.

some of the colleges would be:

Dartmouth

the ivy league schools

Dartmouth College
Cornell University



Do not count cannot have University, College, or state in their official title.

If we want to get specific the full title for Stanford is, "The Board of Trustees at the Leyland Stanford Junior University"
